Redman Joins BDAFL Board
Experienced Administrator, Paul Redman has been elected onto the BDAFL Board of Management at yesterday's Annual General Meeting. Phil Lewis and Megan Farrell were also re-elected onto the Board.
Mr Redman takes over from Mark Stocker who did not seek re-election.
Redman has held numerous sporting administrative roles, including being one the executives of the Newcastle AFL committee. He is also a Life Member of the Cardiff Football Club and can be seen each Saturday filling the role of timekeeper for the Hawks.
BDAFL President, Wal Bembic was thrilled with the appointment.
"Paul is well regarded in the BDAFL community, with a wealth of experience not only with the BDAFL but administration prior to the commencemnet of the BDAFL in 2000. To have him express interest in being apart of the BDAFL Board is great for football" Bembic said.
Mr Bembic also paid tribute to outgoing Board Member, Mark Stocker.
"Mark did a wonderful job during his two years on the Board and we wish him well with his future endeavours with the Maitland FC".
The BDAFL Board is: Wal Bembic, Phil Lewis, Kevin Greaves, Paul Kelly, Megan Farrell, Luke Rankin and Paul Redman.
