Fuel, Oil and Water
A non-return valve must be fitted to the tank breather pipe which must discharge into a catch tank with a minimum capacity of 100cc for Mini Motards and 350cc for Supermotos. On all engines, an oil catch tank of 200cc for Mini Motard and 300cc for Supermoto (minimum), properly fastened, or a closed breather system must be installed. Coolant must not be used, the only fluid to be used will be water.
Lock Wiring
Plugs or caps which, if removed, permit the discharge of any lubricating, cooling or hydraulic fluids, must be wire-locked or otherwise secured in he tightened position in a manner approved by the Scrutineer.
Lock wiring used on oil and water filler caps and drain plugs must be visible..
Brakes
A pin or locknut must be fitted to the brake pad fixture. The safety wire used on the brake caliper bolts must be visible.
Exhaust
Mufflers must have smooth/rounded ends to pipes and/or bodies and may not protrude past the end of the tail unit. The maximum noise emission is to less than 112dB/A +/-4dB/A.
Controls
Bar ends must be closed in and made of plastic or alloy or if bark busters are used they must be of shatter proof material. Lever ends must be rounded and smooth to prevent danger to the rider and the track in a crash. Handle bar mounted stop switch/button must be fitted and operational.
Foot Pegs and Axles
Must be plastic/rubber or plastic rubber coated to the Scrutineers satisfaction to prevent track damage even when bike is crashed. Axle sliders must be securely attached to the front and rear axles.
