2013 REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
Please be advised that now the 2012 Representative Basketball is coming to an end we are going to be conducting an off season training program for all who intend trialling for the 2013 Basketball Season with the Maitland Mustangs. Can you please pass this onto your players and also to anyone who is interested in trialling for Representative Basketball in 2013. This training will commence on Thursday 9th August and will be weekly up until the school holidays which means the last training will be on Thursday 20.9.12.
The 2013 trial dates will be advised at a later date but this training program will form part of the trial process and thus the players need to register for the training program. If your child is committed to Representative Basketball but is unable to attend one of the training sessions or trials you must send a letter to the Basketball Rep Committee advising of inability to attend. Even if your child is sick and unable to attend at last minute please give the stadium a quick call so that the Coaches can be advised.
U/12's – Born 2002 & later 5pm – 6.30pm Thursday nights 9th, 16th , 23rd, 30th Aug, 6th, 14th & 20th September 2012
U/14's – Born 2000 or 2001 5pm – 6.30pm Thursday nights 9th, 16th , 23rd, 30th Aug, 6th, 14th & 20th September 2012
U/16's – Born 1998 or 1999 6.30pm – 8pm Thursday nights 9th, 16th , 23rd, 30th Aug, 6th, 14th & 20th September 2012
U/18's –Born 1996 or 1997 6.30pm – 8pm Thursday nights 9th, 16th , 23rd, 30th Aug, 6th, 14th & 20th September 2012
Remember this is for the 2013 season so check that your child attends the correct timeslot as if they were in Under 12’s this year they maybe in Under 14’s next year if they were born in the year 2000.
The cost will only be $15 and this covers the 7 weeks training & trials. Can you please complete the attached nomination form and return to the stadium with the $15 payment prior to Wednesday 8.8.12.
Trial dates have not yet been set but all registered players in the Trial Development Training will be notified when the dates have been set. These dates will also be put on the Mustangs website & noticeboards. I do know that the final trial will be before Christmas so please allow for the $100 to be paid prior to Christmas.
