NSW Men bring home the ESC glory

Congratulations to the NSW Fightin Wombats as they went to the Gold Coast on the weekend of September 8th and 9th to take on Queensland and two of its club teams in the first annual Eastern State Championships, sponsored by the ALA. With one Tasmanian in tow the New South Welshman beat both the club team on theSaturday in convincing fashion before claiming the trophy on the Sunday  15 goals to 3. The Fightin' Wombettes took on the Queensland women as well earning a draw on the final game on Sunday, 11 all. Well done to all who participated and made for a fantastic weekend for lacrosse in our states.
