Quota International - Robina donated a basketball wheelchair to Rollerblaze.

May 2009
Gambling Machine Community Benefit Fund donated 7 Quickie All Court basketball wheelchairs to RollerBlaze. Gold Coast City Councillors Clarke, Crichlow, Grew, La Castra, Pforr, Robbins and Sarroff donated a Quickie All Court basketball wheelchair to Rollerblaze.

Rollerblaze entered 4 teams (1 A grade and 3 B Grade) to The Classsics Tournament at Boondall Stadium.  A grade finished 8th and B grade (1029ers) finished 2nd.

Nadia Romeo - Silver Medallist from Sydney Paralympics donated her basketball wheelchair to Rollerblaze.

Pan Pacific Masters Games - wheelchair basketball included for first time - Rollerblaze entered one
team. Bronze Medal.

102.9ers win McNeil Cup - A Grade.  
Rollers win inaugural Wicked Cup  - B Grade.
Mat McShane (A Grade) and Gary Overliese (B Grade) voted MVP's
Mat Thomson awarded Rollerblaze Team Spirit Award.
Gary Overliese awarded Lions Medal for outstanding service to the club.

February 2011
Rolleblaze entered into a Memoradum of Understanding with Basketball Queensland as a pilot project with the objective of inclusion. We believe this relationship will demonstrate to the basketball community, be it local associations or providers for athletes with a disability,  the efficiency of sharing resources and the power of unity within the game.

Monday 6 June 2011
Rollerblaze attended Basketbal Qld State Conference at Chandler Stadium to introduce wheelchair basketball.  Basketball officials from all around the State were able "have a go" at basketball in a wheelchair. 

June 2011
Rollerblaze entered 2 B grade teams in the State Championships - The Classics - held at Boondall Stadium. The teams finished 5th and 6th.  Icemen with 3 Rollerblaze players finished 2nd in the A grade comp.

13 - 15 January 2012 
Rollerblaze entered two B grade and one A Grade teams in the Sunshine Coast Spinners annual tournament.  In B grade Rollerblaze Blue won gold medal and Rollerblaze Lions won the bronze medal.  Scott Boland was named in B Grade All Star Five. In A grade Rollerblaze won bronze medal from 10 teams.

Rollerblaze staged the fourth consecutive exhibition game at the half time break at the Gold Coast Blaze NBL game - Gold Coast Convention and Entertainment Centre. The game was televised.

March 2012 
Eagle Pumps Gold Coast sponsored a third B Grade team in the Thursday night social competition.

Rollerblaze entered two teams in B Grade division in the State Championships - The Classics.  102.9ers came second and Blaze came 6th from 8 teams. Rollerblaze player Scott Boland awarded the Invacare Basketball Wheelchair.

The inaugural Referees Awards were won by Peter Mills (A Grade) and Roger Gordon (B Grade).
Coaches Awards generously sponsored by CSS Insurance Solutions were awarded to Ben Noonan (A Grade) and Emily Himing (B Grade)..

Wicked Wheelchairs donated a RAM Basketball Wheelchair to the programme.  The chair was used by Tige Simmons OAM at the Beijing Paralympic Games where the Australian Rollers won the Gold medal

Rollerblaze entered four teams (2 x A grade and 2 x B grade) teams in the Spinners Tournament on Sunshine Coast. 
Team Wicked won A Grade Bronze Medal  (Luke Johnson, Adrian King, Kurt Thomson, Mike Manuel, Peter Mills, Dion Reweti, Jo Salu and Alan Cowie.) Adrian King - A Grade MVP and A Grade All Star Five.

Rollerblaze entered a team in B Grade division in the State Championships - The Classics.   Blaze won the bronze metal. The team was Louis Billet, John Morgan, Scott Boland, Blair Thompson, Brent Geritz, Ben Noonan, Rob Bailey, Mat Thomspon and Faa Moana (Solomon Islands).

Bond University Exhibition Game - "What Pushes You?"  Lions won the game defeating Wicked by 3 points.  Students at Bond raised $4000 for Rollerblaze.
