CRL Referees Recruitment & Participation Officer

Rugby League is the Greatest Game of All with a vision to be the most entertaining, most engaging and most respected sport. The Country Rugby League (CRL) currently has an opportunity for a Referees Recruitment & Participation Officer to join the Rugby League team and be part of the game’s exciting future. 



The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a recruitment and participation program within Regional NSW to deliver opportunities, defined outcomes and increase the overall participation of Referees within the area.

You will be a crucial link to the growth of Referee participation and pathways within the area, working with a variety of CRL and NRL stakeholders and developing networks to identify and mentor potential future Referees.



The right candidate for this role will be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about Rugby League. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives.

You will have the following skills experience, qualifications and knowledge:

  •          Knowledge and experience in Rugby League
  •          Ability to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and competence within the Refereeing environment
  •          Minimum Level 1 Referee’s Qualification
  •          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •          Current driver’s license
  •          Current Working with Children’s check
