All Junior Soccer is off, Open Ladies still to play
An inspection of the Grounds at Harrison Park was conductied today, Saturday 16 June 2012, by Parkes Executive members Cameron Stone, Aaron Gaffey, Kevin Medlyn, David Parker and Victor Gaidzionis due to the overnight rainfall.
After inspection of all the grounds is was decided that all Junior games (Under 6 to Under 16 Girls) be washed out for today however all Open Ladies games would still go ahead with a new draw has now been publised on our website.
Only 3 grounds were declared fit to play on and those being Grounds 1, 2 and 3.
As an association we regret to have to wash rounds out but mother nature can not be controlled and we feel that we are lucky to be able to have 3 suitable grounds to play on today compared to the other 2 weeks when soccer has been washed out with all grounds being unsuitable to play on in thoses weeks.
Junior selection trials will still be held today for the Parkes carnival teams to participate in the Forbes carnival next Sunday, these trials will commence at 3pm at Harrision Park.
