Netball NZ Coaching Modules offered in October & November
NETBALL NEW ZEALAND COMMUNITY COACH AWARD
The Community Coach Award is the first level of achievement on the Netball New Zealand Coach Accreditation Pathway and requires the completion of five compulsory modules – Player Centred Coaching, Communicating & Managing Others, Planning, Skill Analysis and Team Building. All five modules are on offer in October/November providing a handy opportunity for keen school/club coaches to gain recognised accreditation for your development efforts. Once coaches achieve this award they then benefit from additional support and personal development opportunities as part of the Netball Wellington Region development phase overseen by Coach Development Officer Sandra Edge.

Each course costs $25 to attend and is held at the Hataitai Netball Pavilion & Courts.
PLAYER CENTRED COACHING – Monday 15th October from 6.00pm – 9.00pm Sole compulsory module to complete prior to attending further development modules and one of five modules required for Community Coach Award.

PLANNING – Monday 29th October from 6.30pm to 9.00pm One of five modules required for Community Coach Award.
Registrations close 12pm Thursday 25th October
TEAM BUILDING – Monday 5th November from 6.30pm to 9.00pm One of five modules required for Community Coach Award.
Registrations close 12pm Thursday 1st November
COMMUNICATING AND MANAGING OTHERS – Monday 12th November from 6.30pm to 9.00pm One of five modules required for Community Coach Award.
Registrations close 12pm Thursday 8th November
SKILL ANALYSIS – Monday 19th November from 6.30pm – 9.00pm One of five modules required for Community Coach Award.
Registrations close 12pm Thursday 15th November
FIT FOR THE SEASON – Monday 26th November from 6.30pm – 9.00pm
