"Working on the Wing"
with Robyn Broughton - Haier Pulse Coach & guest mid-courter from the Haier Pulse

The wing attack is said to be the key play-maker of the netball court matched only by the wing defence whose role is to shut their opposition down. The skills required to play in these positions are quite different to any other position given the reduced court space to work within.
This workshop will focus on exploring the skill set of a specialist Wing Attack and Wing Defence.
Haier Pulse Coach Robyn Broughton will share ideas on how to integrate position-specific development activities into your games & training plans to get the best out of your mid-court players.

Game Statistics for Coaches & Manager
with Lindsay Filiata - Statistician for NZ Secondary Schools & NZ Under 21 programme
Statistics form an important part of everyday life used in areas such as news reports, weather, elections and sports game analysis. Through the careful collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data we are able to gain insight into where teams and players perform well and ultimately where they may need to improve. In this workshop, Lindsay Filiata shares her thoughts on why statistics are useful and discuss what type of data is of benefit while enlightening participants on ways to gather and use data for the maximum benefit of your players and team.
