Seeking Coaches, Managers & Primary Care/Physio for 2012 Yr9, U15 & U17 Rep Teams

(Last updated 30 January 2012)

Netball Wellington Centre invite all interested coaches to take up the opportunity to get involved in our Year 9, Under 15 and Under 17 representative coaching teams. We are seeking keen applicants for the positions of Head Coach, Development Coach (2nd Team), Assistant Coach, Apprentice Coach, Team Manager and Primary Care/Physiotherapist. We encourage you to please have a look over the job descriptions that interest you and register your interest by completing a form, briefly outlining your experience and return your application to the Netball Wellington Centre via email to ndo@netballwellington.co.nz or fax (04) 387 7461. While our initial registration deadline of 20th January has now passed, we do still have positions vacant therefore we welcome you to get in touch by contacting Maria Hegarty - Netball Manager on 387 6011 to discuss your involvement and development opportunities as part of our representative programme.

Positions within the Representative Team Management are a pathway opportunity for all coaches, managers and primary care/physiotherapists wishing to further their coaching careers and for those wishing to give back to the netball community at centre level.  It is also a great chance to work with young players, passing on your expertise and making a difference to their netball development while increasing their confidence and love of the game of netball!

Netball Wellington Centre are seeking keen coaches, managers and primary care/physiotherapists who wish to take up the exciting opportunity to work alongside other experienced individuals. These positions are in a volunteer capacity however and provide a fantastic opportunity to further develop yourself. Travel and accommodation will be covered for each team management official to attend most away fixtures and tournaments with the exception of apprentice coaches who are funded to attend local tournaments only.  Apprentice coaches are considered to be upcoming coaches who could benefit from further development and confidence gained through shadowing a Head Coach/Assistant Coach whilst gaining hands-on experience observing and interacting within the team environment.
