Netball Wellington Region CEO Appointment

Netball Wellington Region is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris McNay as the Netball Wellington Region/Haier Pulse CEO. The CEO role is a new position for the region and is responsible for implementing the Netball Wellington Plan, Roadmap for the Future. The role and plan were established by the Netball Wellington Establishment Board as part of the new structure agreed to by the region and centres. In conjunction with the appointment of the CEO, the composition and roles of the regional board will alter.

The CEO role was advertised in early December and we were very fortunate to receive a large number of high quality applicants. After a robust selection process Chris was offered the role. Chris has most recently been the Netball Wellington Region Review Project Manager and prior to that was the owner of Bodyworks Gym. Chris brings extensive business knowledge and has the ability to assess the future requirements for netball and to execute the changes needed to ensure success. Chris will start on January 25.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
