2014 U19 Rep Trials - nominations close Monday 5th May

2014 U19 Rep Trials & Season Information

In 2014 the Netball Wellington Centre will again offer the opportunity for players from within the Wellington region to trial for selection in an Under 19 representative age-grade team.

In order to name a strong team for the U19 age group we seek a large pool of talented players to select from.  Trials provide a great experience for keen players - we strongly encourage all to put your name forward and give it your best shot!

Trial eligibility:
Players need to be playing for an affiliated school or club team within the Netball Wairarapa, Netball Kapiti, Kapi Mana Netball Centre, Netball Hutt Valley Centre or Netball Wellington Centre winter competition and must be aged under 19 years of age as at 1st January 2014.

Trials will be held at the ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie in Wellington on the following three dates:

  • Tuesday 6th May 2014 from 7.00pm - 9.00pm
  • Thursday 8th May 2014 from 6.00pm - 8.00pm
  • Sunday 11th May 2014 from 10.00am - 12.00pm

Inability to attend all trial dates:
While we strongly recommend that triallists be available to attend ALL trials, due consideration may be granted to those who indicate their unavailability upon submission of their representative trial nomination form and provide a valid reason for their absence. Please therefore be sure to indicate any absences clearly so as not to unfairly disadvantage yourself.  In special circumstances a dispensation may be granted to those who provide a valid reason – please enquire at the time of registration or note on the online registration form.

U19 Rep Trial Nominations close 5pm Monday 5th May 2014

A nomination form must be submitted either by the trialist themselves or on behalf of the trialist prior to attending trials. For example, a previous Coach or School Sports Coordinator can submit a nomination on behalf of the trialist so long as the trialist is aware and agrees to attend.
Coaches/Sport Coordinators - please advise players if you are nominating on their behalf so they know to attend.

We welcome all hopeful trialists and look forward to seeing your talent on display!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
