Defence Workshop with Yvonne Willering - learn from one of the best!
Netball Wellington Region in partnership with Netball Kapi Mana are excited to present a Defence Workshop run by Yvonne Willering - former silver ferns coach and one of the world's best defenders during her elite playing career who is a renowned coach of the demanding art of defence. It is an art worth mastering as to paraphrase the legendary American basketball coach John Wooden, "Good offence wins games; great defence wins championships."
Come along and share in Yvonne Willering's vast knowledge on the topic of defence delivered in an informative and easy to understand way and encompassing hints and suggestions for drills and skills to use in training.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday 14th March from 6.00pm - 8.30pm at Te Rauparaha Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua and is open to all keen coaches.
Cost: $20 per person to attend.
