Dale Wortman U18 Invitational Fixtures Event

This tournament is attended as an invitation extended to Under 18 representative teams affiliated to an existing netball centre.  We are hopeful that we may again get to host returning teams from further afield outside our Central Zone to really add to the competition level in preparation for Nationals.

As of 2018, we are proud to recognise our Netball Wellington Centre long-serving Life Member Dale Wortman by naming the tournament in her honour.  This event was shifted one week later in 2018 to coincide with our Centenary events.  We would now like to retain the later timing for 2020 in an effort to provide a game play opportunity timed as near to the U18 Nationals as manageable.

Entry fee: $150 (includes GST) per team
Entities will be invoiced upon request.
Each team must provide an accompanying umpire.
Games will be played between 9.00am (first round) and the event will finish by 4.00pm.  If travelling to attend and wishing to request a later start time/early departure time please advise as soon as able and we shall do our best to accommodate in the draw.

Teams are asked to indicate their intention to attend as soon as able.
We shall be in contact once registration is received to gather team lists and umpire details.  We hope to have these returned by early June.

Please be sure to include umpire name and qualifications to assist us with allocating umpires to games.  In the instance where a centre is struggling to provide an umpire please contact us and we shall try to assist where able.

Team Entry indication due as soon as able before Friday 7th June.
Late entries may be accepted depending on available space.
Team List/Umpire details will be required soon after by 14th June.

Accommodation options for travelling teams
If seeking accommodation there are a variety of lodges, motels and hotels within 2-10 minutes drive from the ASB sports Centre listed in order of proximity to tournament venue.
