From 31st January 2017 onwards the following changes will take effect:

Community Coach Award I (CCA I) is the second step and consists of 10 technical modules: Player Centred Coaching, Communication & Managing Others, Planning, Skills Analysis, Team Building, Selecting, Balls Skills, Attack 1, Defence 1, Shooting.  Includes further online and ongoing learning.

Community Coach Award II (CCA II) follows on from CCA I with seven additional tactical modules: Fit for the Season, Game Analysis, Mental Skills, Tournament Planning, Through Court, Centre Pass, Circle Work.  Includes further online and ongoing learning.

Performance Coach Qualification (PCQ) forms the next step on from CCA II with seven further additional modules: Enhancing Performance, Advanced Mental Skills I, Advanced Skill Acquisition I, Advanced Performance Planning, Advanced Mental Skills II, Advanced Skill Acquisition II and Advance Game Analysis.  Coaches must also be actively coaching for a minimum of 2 years at U17/U19/Premier Club level and above.  They must also undertake a Coach Development Plan, Practical Observations/Assessments and further online and ongoing learning.

Those wishing to progress from the former CCA onto PCQ need to complete Fit for the Season, Mental Skills and Game Analysis prior to 31st January 2017 as well as meet the minimum requirement of 2 years coaching at U17/U19/Premier Club level in order to be eligible for entry.
