Are you a Year 5 or 6 netballer who can't wait for the season to start so you can get back into netball?  This programme's especially for you!

This programme suits keen young netballers in Year 5 & 6 keen to refresh their skills and get their eye in so they can be ahead of the rest and start the season on their best foot. This is a good opportunity to gain a helpful lead-in to school trials. Those new to netball are also welcome to come and find out what this exciting sport has to offer.

Six week duration
Start date: Monday 15th February
End date: Monday 21st March 2016
One hour sessions run from 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Cost: $70 per participant

This fun-filled programme focuses on basic netball skills to give your child a good kick-start to their netball season. Sessions are led by NWC Netball Development Officer Maria Hegarty incorporating a number of fun activities designed to practice movement, footwork and ball skills along with elements of attack, defence and shooting. In an effort to keep the fun-factor high and actively engage participants we'll make the most of modified games to allow attendees to combine practiced skills together into a game-play situation (where participant numbers allow). The pre-season timing provides a great opportunity for junior players to get ahead of the rest come trial time and make an impact with loads of enthusiasm to boot!
