Junior Netball Academy – Term 3 2012

We are offering our programme to boys and girls in Years 3 – 10

Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 sessions are held on Wednesdays 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 sessions are held on Thursdays 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Netball Wellington Centre is pleased to offer the Junior Netball Academy.

This programme was founded by Netball Southland who has successfully been running it since 2004. 

GIVE YOUR CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE...

The Junior Netball Academy Programme, is divided into eight levels with three modules in each level. Each session is written in detail for the coaches to follow and has been developed to progressively teach the skills appropriate to children of that age and ability level. Players will be grouped according to ability and will start on the module level representative of their current skill level.

Sessions are fast paced, interesting and fun for the players. Players are taught the importance of warm ups and cooling down and in between cover movement skills and fitness, ball skills, shooting, attacking and defending. A modified game at the end of each session gives the players the opportunity to get some hands on practice of the skills they have learnt in the session.

$70 per child per term (6 sessions in Term 3) and includes provision of a Junior Netball Academy diary.
Additional $15 for those wishing to order a Junior Netball Academy t-shirt.
DISCOUNTS:
There will be a $10 DISCOUNT available for 2^nd and subsequent children from the same family.

Rain or shine? The Junior Netball Academy will be held indoors at the new ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington.

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE have been extended to close 12pm on Monday 23rd July 2012 or until places are filled.  Registrations are limited so get in quick!
