Get your head in the game before you kick-off your netball season so you can tap into your full potential in preparation for school or rep trials!

This six-week programme is aimed at motivated netballers in Year 7-11 who may intend to trial for top school teams or representative level teams (Year 7, Year 8, Under 15 or Under 17) in 2017 with a focus on preparing them to trial at their full potential. Sessions will build on players' current performance of basic skills and coaches will aim to correct technique for the benefit of the player.  While our off-season programme focused on fitness and drills, our pre-season programme builds on skills practiced and extend players' technical ability and on-court application within their chosen area on court.

We are fortunate to have the expertise of Bubs Reweti leading these sessions. Bubs has been a rep level coach for many years and has a passion for working with dedicated young netballers, building on their current tactical skills and extending their technical ability and positional play in preparation for playing at rep-level.  Bubs is also happy to provide guidance to players who are not yet sure what position they are best suited to play.

This programme suits netball players in Year 7-11 in 2017.  It aims to prepare this age group for school trials as well as potential Year 7, Year 8, U15 and possibly U17 age groups representative trials.

Held at the ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington
Term 1: 6 sessions

Year 7&8: Mondays - 6 weeks
Sessions held from 5.00pm to 6.00pm weekly.
Starts 13th February and ends 20th March 2017

Year 9: Tuesdays - 6 weeks
Starts 14th February and ends 21st March 2017
Sessions held from 4.30pm to 5.30pm weekly.

Year 10&11: Tuesdays - 6 weeks
Tue 14th February and ends 21st March 2017
Sessions held from 5.00pm to 6.30pm weekly.
Please note: as part of a new initiative we'll be offering 1.5 hour sessions per week for this particular age group to pack in even more beneficial learning to challenge and extend players into thinking netballers.

Cost:
Year 7-9 - $75 per participant
Year 10&11 - $85 per participant
