Ball Skills coach course - Monday 17 October

At the end of the day it's simple - the team that controls the ball, controls the score.

The importance of mastering solid ball skills and control of the ball is unmistakeable as it denies your opposition the chance to gain points and inevitably enables your own team a better opportunity to put points on the board!

If you're a coach who's keen to upskill and expand your netball know-how here's your chance to make the most of your off-season for your own personal development.  Why not attend some of our coaching courses aimed at teaching you the best techniques, sharing ideas and supplying you with the right knowledge to be the best coach you can be?  Course content has been compiled by experts from Netball New Zealand and even offer the chance to gain recognised accreditation for your efforts.

The next course on offer is Ball Skills which allows coaches the chance to learn basic coaching points for a variety of passes and develop an understanding of which pass could be best in various different situations.  By attending this workshop coaches will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the coaching points to assist player development in the implementation of a variety of passes, facilitate learning regarding the delivery of accurate passes and implement activities that will enhance a player’s ability to catch and pass the ball.

We welcome you to attend this handy learning opportunity suitable for coaches who have already completed the Player Centred Coaching course and are keen to build on the basics - let us help you add more tricks to your coaching toolkit.
