Open Grade (19+) NWC Rep Team named for 2016

Thank you to all those brave souls who took the plunge and gave their time to support our new initiative to select an Open Grade (19+) team this year.  Trials were held inviting players aged over 19 years of age at the 1st of January 2016 and who had not already played representative netball at ANZ Championship, Beko National League or Centre representative level in 2017.

We have had the good fortune of welcoming a tight-knit and experienced team management and congratulate them on taking up the following roles:

NWC Open Grade (19+) Lead Coach – Julie Wilson
NWC Open Grade (19+)  Assistant CoachErica Campbell
NWC Open Grade (19+) Manager – Darrell Doig

Congratulations to the following players who have shown their enthusiasm to continue to train even when the official winter season has come to an end:

Abigail Setefano (PIC Netball Club)
Courtney Jones (Wellington East Netball Club)
Emma O'Neill (Wellington East Netball Club)
Erin Roxburgh (Kia Ora Netball Club)
Francesca Graham (Kia Ora Netball Club)
Jordan Thorstensen (Kia Ora Netball Club)

Selena Duggan (PIC Netball Club)
Silia Setefano (SMOG Netball Club)

The team is  currently working hard, gearing up to give it their all at the Intra-Zone Fixtures Event coming up on Sunday 9th October held at Arena Manawatu in Palmerston North and would love your support if in the area.
