NETBALL CONVENOR 2014 - Wellington East Girls’ College
Wellington East Girls' College is seeking an enthusiastic Netball Convenor to convene and develop the sport of Netball at Wellington East Girls’ College in 2014. This is a paid position and would be a period of approximately 30 weeks, Feb through to Sep amounting to approximately 7 hours per week.
WEGC is a high performing School with an outstanding reputation for excellence in Sport. With over one quarter of students involved in Netball from Years 9 – 13, Netball is the highest participatory sport of choice at Wellington East Girls’ College. In the 2013 season there were over 24 teams representing WEGC over competitions held weekly in Wellington.
Within netball we have a clear vision to develop players, coaches and officials to the highest level of achievement. It is our aim for students to reach maximum potential at local and regional levels as well as continuing to maintain high levels of participation in forthcoming years. The School provides support, resources and looks forward to hearing from anyone who would like to get involved in the WEGC Netball culture.
