Netball Central Zone seeks U23 Assistant Coach
Netball Central Zone are looking ahead to compile a region-wide Under 23 team for the 2014 season starting with appointing a strong management team.
They are currently seeking expressions of interest for the role of Assistant Coach.
PURPOSE
The Netball Central Zone Under 23 team is an integral part of the High Performance pathway. The Assistant Coach is primarily responsible for supporting the Head Coach to deliver the overall preparation, coaching, selection management and performance of the Netball Central U23 team in a manner that extends and develops them to achieve at the highest level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
* To work closely with the Netball Central Zone (NCZ) U23 Head Coach & High Performance Manager to ensure that a highly effective U23 programme is put in place that will ensure the depth of Performance Athletes with the ability to step into Franchise Netball.
* Co-select a representative team/ squad for which is capable of achieving a top two placing in the Under 23 Championships.
* Plan in conjunction with the Head Coach a team training programme that prepares the team to perform at peak level for the Under 23 Championship.
* In conjunction with the Head Coach, monitor and review the Sports Conditioning programme for each individual.
Period of contract: 1 November 2013 – 31 July 2014
