Gold Coin Day at ASB Sports Centre Saturday 15th June
Netball Wellington Centre shall be holding a second Gold Coin Day on Saturday 15th June to help raise funds for the Centre's Under 17s & Under 19s representative teams for the 2013 season. Members of the Under 17 & Under 19 teams shall be posted at entry points to the Kilbirnie ASB Sports Centre and within the centre to gratefully accept any gold coins you are able to spare.
The Centre has one Under 17 team made up of a great bunch of talented players. They have had a great start to the season with the Under 17 Team winning their first Marjorie Jenden Tournament held in Paraparaumu. The U17 team will be preparting to attend their Netball New Zealand Age Group Championships in Hastings this year. The Tournament runs from the 22nd to 25th July and we wish them all the best of luck!
The Centre's Under 19 team contains a collective group of skilled players from around the Wellington region. Their first tournament is the Steffensen Tournament on Sunday 9th July in Palmerston North and we wish them all the very best! They are building up to their Netball New Zealand Age Group Championships held right here in Wellington at the ASB Sports Centre. Show your support and come down to watch them - the tournament runs from Monday 15th to Thursday 18th July.
