NetballSmart Social Power Warm Up - Thursday 15 March

This week we are fortunate to welcome the expertise of Lee Spence, NetballSmart Development Officer.  Lee will be on site at ASB Sports Centre running two NetballSmart sessions this Thursday 15th March 2018.  All are welcome to join in!

NetballSmart in conjunction with the Netball Wellington Centre invites you to take part in our inaugural intermediate/College comp/twilight netball warm up.

Come along early before your games on Thursday 15th March and learn how to perform the NetballSmart “Social Power Warm Up”.  This modified version of the standard warm up is ideal for social teams with minimal warm up space or time who may be less inclined to dedicate time for a decent warm-up yet may be prone to tweaks, strains and muscle pulls.  This is one way we can help you improve your teams injury resilience so you can stay on court longer and play without worry week in and week out!

Please register your interest with Lee via email to netballsmart@netballcentral.co.nz.  Mention your name, team and time you'll be attending.

Start times:
4:20pm on Court 3
6:00pm on Court 7

Lee will also be around to advise and help coachess, players and umpires with warm ups and give more information on the entire NetballSmart program.

Please spread the word amongst your team mates, especially those who also coach as well as players who may be going on to play in our NWC Winter Competition.  This warm-up routine is endorsed by Netball New Zealand in alignment with ACC so it's here to stay!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
