Term 4 General Information

In Term 4, we allow Year 5s to take a well-deserved break from netball to either enjoy playing in our Kids' Netball Comp held on Wednesdays in Term 4 or get back into enjoying summer sports.

There are still some netball options available for keen netballers in Year 6 upwards if wishing to keep your skills sharp outside of the netball season...

Our Off-Season Netball Development Programme is run as an end-of-season opportunity in Term 4 which is a pre-cursor to the Pre-Season Netball Development Programme in Term 1.  The off-season programme provides the opportunity to maintain skills after the winter season has come to an end, stay active during the off-season and fix sights firmly on preparation for the coming netball season.

While the Pre-Season and Off-Season programmes complement each other, each individual six-week programme remains of benefit as a stand-alone 6-week block or as a progressive 12-week programme.  Attendees are welcome to register as they deem suitable for their needs/interest and availabilty given we appreciate summer sports are also on the go.

The Off-Season Netball Development Programme is run at the Kilbirnie ASB Sports Centre on Monday/Tuesday afternoons for six-weeks beginning in November and ending in December.  We hope to assist players to continue to grow to their full potential in preparation for next season.

The Off-Season Netball Development Programme is aimed at motivated netballers currently in Year 6-10 who will be heading into Year 7-11 in the coming year.  Attendees should have an keen interest in maintaining their skills over the summer period with a mind to potentially trial for top school or representative level teams the following year.

When registering we ask that you take care to attend the correct age group you will be in for the following year.
