 Raroa Normal Intermediate School
(Year 8A level)

Raroa Normal Intermediate Netball are very keen to hear from a keen coach who would like to take up the coaching duties for their Year 8A netball team.  Set in the centre of the Northern suburbs of Wellington, Raroa provides challenging experiences for Middle Years students aged 10-13.

During the trial process and directly following the naming of the teams we need to name a coach, umpire and manager for each team otherwise the team cannot register.  Finding adequate numbers of administrators for each team is a tough job and we welcome any interest in the Year 8A Coach role at this late stage. We are able to assist with courses and information to support you in this role should you require.

We would like to fill this position as soon as possible so if interested, please contact Kelly Herbert via email to herbertk@raroa.school.nz at your earliest convenience.

Northern Suburbs Netball
(Years 7 & 8 - Covering Chartwell to Churton Park, including Queen Margaret and Thorndon schools)

Northern Suburbs Netball request expressions of interest from anyone wishing to be considered for the coaching positions available. We have two teams representing Northern Suburbs, and these teams travel away to at least two tournaments and also attend any appropriate tournaments in the Wellington/Hutt Valley region.

Our trials are taking place in the first two weeks of term 2 – 11th and 12th, 18th and 19th May with the teams of 10 players (and two reserves) being named on the 19th May. Training is then twice weekly (ideally Sunday and Wednesday) but can be changed to suit coaches and managers. We require the successful coach to be present at the trials to ensure full input and agreeance with the selected players.

The representative season generally goes until mid-way through the 3rd school term (August) so a reasonably high level of commitment is required.

Relevant qualifications and/or experience with coaching these age groups is essential, however all applicants will be considered.
