National Selector, Emerging Talent Selector and Support Selectors

Expressions of interest are now being called for selectors to join the National Selection Panel (NSP), the Emerging Talent Selection Panel (ETSP) and Selectors Support team for a 2 year period, starting 14 March 2016. NNZ is seeking selectors to fulfil the following voluntary positions:

  • One National Selector based in the Northern or Waikato-Bay of Plenty Zones.

  • One Emerging Talent Selector based in the Northern Zone.

  • Support Selectors from all five zones.

These are key roles in the NNZ High Performance structure and the successful applicants will be responsible for working with the appropriate national squads. For more information please refer to the appropriate position descriptions.

Each role will require a commitment from the applicants to attend various netball events and tournaments NZ wide, plus training camps at designated times.  Key events include but are not limited to; National Netball Championships, Squad and Team Trials, ANZ Championship games and National Netball League games.  You will also be required to provide player profiles and observational feedback on players, identify trends that are relevant to selection, maintain selectors documents on a regular basis and meet deadlines.

If you believe you have the right attributes, knowledge and experience to add value to the NNZ High Performance Programme, please send a cover letter and curriculum vitae stating the position or positions you are interested in and email it to:
