2019 Raiders Development Program

In 2019, NRL Touch Football ACT and the Canberra Raiders will be launching a joint Development Program for junior Touch Football and Rugby League players.

The Raiders Development Program (RDP) in 2019 will see local 12-18 year-old male and female Touch Football and Rugby League players training together focusing on developing their skills in the lead up to the National Youth Championships and Schools championships (Touch) and 2020 Junior Raiders pathways (Rugby League). Coaches for the program will be selected from both Touch Football and Rugby League.

Players will be invited to participate in the RDP through Talent Identification through CRRL, Premier League, Junior State Cup and RDP trials. Training sessions will be held every Monday (except the 10th June, public holiday) at Deakin Oval for 9 weeks.
