Touch is gearing up to the serious end of the competition. The grand final will be held on Monday, 25th March so all teams will be vying for a finals position.
A big thankyou to Lauren Nott and Craige Trindall who offered their services to referee games where needed.  It is so pleasing to see that these type of people are willing to put their hand up and help without any dramas.  This does not go unnoticed by the Committee.
Rule of the Week:
When a player in possessionis on or within five metres of their attacking scoreline, the defending team are permitted to remain on, and defend their scoreline.
A defending player moving forward from their defence line  to effect a touch and who subsequently pull out of making a touch in an attempt to "milk" a penalty for a voluntary Rollball is guilty of an offence and subject bo being penalised.
Once Matthew Nott and one of his apprentices gave up their time on Sunday morning to mow and mark the fields.  They did an excellent job and they looked great going over the bridge.  Thankyou Matt and Tracy.  The Narrabri Shire Parks and Gardens staff have done a great job to bring the fields  back to such good condition as they were before the extreme hot weather and water restrictions.

Unfortunately, Blue Energy did not make the finals. This is a young side put together by some of the player's parents and have improved each game.  If they keep together as a team in the future they will be a team to look out for as they mature and gain further experience.  Well done guys.
