Any player who has not paid their nomination fee will not be able to play this week.  Any unfinancial players will be written on the bottom of the scoresheet and referees are asked to sight the receipt of the players who have their name listed.
All teams should be in their shirts by this time so if anyone is having any difficulty please let the Committee know before the game.
Colin Armstrong has fronted for the third week in a row and is doing a great job as a non playing referee.  Kurt Warren is making a comeback to the refereeing job.  Kurt is one of our youngest referees who has come from our Junior touch ranks and has shone as one of our most talented and respected referees. A big thankyou to Kurt for giving up his time. Also a big congratulations on the new referees who took to the field last week. Sally McFarland, Alex O'Hara, Mitchell Nairn and Catriona Murray  did an excellent job and the Committee wish them to keep up the good work.  Players are also reminded not to backchat the referees and to accept their decisions.  The new referees taking the field for the first time are really trying their best and there is so much to think of and if the game is moving fast it is hard to make decisions and see everything.  So please be mindful of your intimidation as without referees we do not have a game.
Players are also reminded of the substition box and you must substitute within that box. The player who is coming off the field must be in the box first before the new player enters the field.  The substitution box is 5 metres either side of the centre line and is marked with markers as well.  If players follow this rule now it will not be a problem come finals time when players are penalized for incorrect substitution.
