Ever seen a speedway bike at full tilt?
Ever wanted to know what it would be like to pilot one of these exciting bikes?
Well now you can. The Speedway Motorcycle Club of WA, based at Pinjar Park hold regular GoMoto days where you can have a crack on a 125, 250 or 250 sidecar free of charge.
The GoMoto will be under the watchful eye of our experienced club coaches and former Australian champion and international rider Michael Carter, who will give an in depth theory session.
There are a number of classes to suit all types of bikes and riders, not just speedway bikes.
At Pinjar Park the Speedway Motorcycle Club has one of the largest 50cc peewee classes with over 20 regular members riding throughout summer on their regular Saturday night program. Whilst the peewee class is non-competitive, new for 2011/12 will be a competitive 50cc class for 7 to 9 year olds.
Also new for 2011/12 will be classes for Motocross and Fast 50 bikes - junior and senior.
So, if you are keen to keep on riding over summer in a low cost friendly and fun atmosphere in the cool of the evening of every second Saturday night, read more of the Speedway Motorcycle Club of WA's website.
