2011 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships

The 2011 Women’s U25 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships take place July 15-21, 2011 at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada

The tournament is the first-ever World Championship for women in the under-25 age category and represents a milestone in the ongoing growth of wheelchair basketball. This landmark event will forge a legacy of opportunity for young female wheelchair basketball athletes in Canada and around the world.

The seven-day competition will showcase the elite talent of the top young female wheelchair basketball athletes from eight international teams. The participating countries are: Australia, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico, South Africa and the United States.

Wheelchair Basketball Canada will host the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) event in partnership with Brock University.
