WNWBL fires up for Round 2

Hosts Sydney Uni Wheelchair Flames open the round against cross-town rivals the Goudkamp Gladiators from 4.00pm AEDT.

Two games will be held on Saturday night as the second-placed Western Stars take on the Victorian Dandenong Rangers from 5.00pm. The Rangers then turn around to tackle the Flames from 7.00pm.

The round closes out on Sunday with a top-of-the-table clash between the Western Stars and the Flames from 12.00pm followed by the Rangers and Gladiators from 2.00pm.

The QLD women’s development squad, the Rockets, will be joining Round 2 of the league to see the current teams in action and have a coaching clinic with NSW Junior coach, Evan Bennett, as part of their campaign to re-join the WNWBL in the 2011 season.
