Hawks 14 boys off to a flying start at Club Championships

Perry Lakes Hawks commenced their U 14 Australian Boys Club Championships in Perth on Monday
with a convincing 72-35 win over Norwood Flames.

It was a warm start for the boys playing at the Ray Owen Centre in Kalamunda as the temperature sored to over 30 degrees, but this didn't deter the team.

Playing in front of their home crowd, the boys got off to a flying start and were soon on the board. They continued to execute their plays and the result looked never in doubt from the first tip off.

Coach Bob was able to rotate all his players throughout the game and with two games fixtured for Tuesday, this enabled the starting 5 to have plenty of rest.

The Championships are on daily at the Ray Owen Centre in Kalamunda, culminating in medal playoffs on Saturday.
