Inside Ghana Basketball
Based in Accra the capital city, Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) is a non-profit organizational and national governing body for men's and women's basketball in Ghana. As the recognized governing body for basketball in Ghana for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the Ghana Olympic Committee, Ghana Basketball Association is responsible for the selection, training and fielding of Ghanaian Teams that compete in FIBA sponsored international basketball competitions as well as for some national competitions.

Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) was organized in 1960 then known as Ghana Amateur Basketball Association (GABA). The name changed in the 1990's shortly after FIBA modified its rules to allow professional basketball players to participate in international competitions.
GBBA is governed by its Executive Board and its members of congress made up of the various member organizations.
