The undefeated Wudinna United took out the 2015 colts premiership, but not before some nervous moments, particularly in the first half. The young Hawks commitment to tackling and pressure on the ball carrier saw the match only four points apart at the first break, but from there on the taller Magpies started to take control. Using the corridor, long kicks found marking targets and gradually pulled away from their gallant opponents.
ML O Brien Medal for best in Grand Final won by Magpie key position player Ian Jericho. Not far behind was Harrison Petty in the ruck and on the ball, Fraser Douglass with speed and ability to evade tackles, Adam Jericho ahrd running from defence, Hugh Walker, a strong and reliable target. Lewis Habermann kicking five mainly from full forward played a great game, terrior Riley Martin another who worked hard all day. Many good players all over the ground
Hawks had good players and all up for a grand final challenge, they do not lose many from this side due to age so will look forward with confidence in the next few years. Liam Mc Donald names best and has enjoyed a great season, Jay Johns always plenty of the ball and very fit, Ikale Godwin, strong tackling and hard ball winner, Harry Goosay, a go to player, good hands and a good kick, either around the ground or at goal. Jonti Brice, Zeph Mohi, Izaac Bagnell Smith and Harmyn Baldock had good Grand Finals.
The Magpies lift the colts trophy for the second consecutive year, Congratulations Wudinna United.
