Always plenty of interest in League Best and Fairest awards. Mid West medals are all wide open this year with good performers at all clubs
Joint winners last year, Dale Montgomerie and Jared Sampson, both early injury issues but have bounced back into the season and well in contention. Lots of good players at the Hawks, do they steal votes off of each other?, Bulldogs win plenty of matches, and another club with a host of vote getters. Wirrulla have some star performers, and most have had time on the sidelines dealing with injury at some point, will that hurt the Bombers chances? Magpies and Tigers have interspersed their seasons with some good and some average performances on the scoreboard, both have players who get attention however, Roosters have had highs and lows during the season, but a few regular high performers stand out.
Harder to pick a winner here than the Melbourne Cup, so listen out for the tipsters picks next week! (Remember to gamble responsibly!).
All Mid West supporters, players and officials are urged to come along to support the League and acknowledge the high achievers 2015.
