Damp conditions at all venues this weekend-:
The Hawks defense reigns supreme against the Magpies at Wudinna. Hawks stay in touch for a showdown for top position in two games time, workman like performance today, bigger games lay ahead. Maggies still winless, despite some good showings.
Tigers slug it out with the Roosters at Minnipa, getting away only in the last quarter to consolidate third place on the ladder, Elliston looking at where their next away win will come from, some sore boys from both sides in a hard physical encounter
The Bulldogs back in full flight, returning soldiers in this week - Jake Bruce (Mail Medalist 2012/ 2013), Tom Freeth from a knee reconstruction, Kane Sampson all getting through OK plus Micah Van Loon, Beau Lowe all see the Central Eyre machine building for an assault on September. The Bombers just didnt have the answers, but need to find some soon, as their top four spot is being challenged.
No Mid West matches next week as we pause for the State Country Championships at Kadina, and the Kinlough/Pedler Cups at Lock. Good Luck to all involved in these carnivals.
