Michael Fisher will reach the 200 game milestone for the Beaconsfield Football club when he takes the field for the reserves against Pakenham today.
Michael has played 134 senior games and with his 66ths Twos match reaches a long awaited milestone. Fish has been a fantastic contributor to the Eagles on & off the field since joining the Thirds ranks back in 1996. He is a dual senior premiership player (2001/2003) along with Reserves premierships in 1997/98. He is now providing valuable on field leadership to his young teammates and sees his team on top of the ladder.
Off the ground Michael has been just as valuable, carrying out the treasurer's role last year, committee member and providing great input into the club from a player's perspective. He has also been instrumental in the club's terrific website and puts in many hours keeping it up to date, colourful and informative. He has also shown his writing flair by infusing the club notes with a degree of humour matched with concise summaries.
Michael & D'Arne are expecting their first child within the next week or so and all at Beaconsfield wish them well and congratulate & thank Michael on his efforts for our club.
