The Southern Football League Hall of Fame is established in order to provide due recognition to those who have given outstanding service to Australian Football throughout the League history since its establishment in 1886. The Inaugural Induction (2007).

Sunday the 14th of October, 2007 will go down in history as the inaugural Southern Football League Hall of Fame presentation, where the first 46 inductees were presented at the South Adelaide Football Club Function Room. The Patron, John HALL OAM, made the inaugural speech to the members present. The speech is reproduced, as an item of league history.more

The Hall of Fame lapel pin

As a part of the recognition of achievement, the SFL Hall of Fame lapel pin is given to each recipient of Hall of Fame membership, as a visible momento of their award. Each pin is individually numbered and was firsy presented at the 2010 Hall of Fame award dinner. All recipients receive the pin.more
