Welcome to the Perth Redbacks

We are a volunteer organisation that has been providing basketball services to all age groups since 1964. The Redbacks are affiliated with Basketball Western Australia.

Our service area is from Leederville and West Perth, across the CBD and along the South East corridor of the Perth Metropolitan Area to Gosnells.We operate community based junior competitions at Loftus Recreation Centre in Leederville and Leisurelife Centre in Victoria Park and Belmont Oasis in Belmont.

Those that are selected to represent the Perth Redbacks at WABL and SBL level compete against other clubs from across Perth and WA regional areas.

• Over 700 weekly contacts

• 85 teams (700+ players and support staff)

• 40 weeks of competition at 3 locations

• Over 1,500 games during the year

• Over 25,000 contacts every year

• Potential for growth up to 200 teams

• Potential for over 4,000 games per year

• Potential for over 60,000 contacts per year

Community

• Over 7,000 yearly contacts

• Over 2,000 yearly Indigenous contacts

• Potential for over 30,000 yearly contacts with an increase in funding.
