Redbacks In State Teams

Young Redbacks selected
Perth Redbacks players Jarrad Jackson and Robert Cassir have been selected in the state under-18 boys basketball squad.
Jackson (17) is a guard in the Redbacks State League squad and he has been in stunning form despite Perth's disappointing start to the season.
He scored a season high 25 points against Bunbury earlier this month, which included 17 points in the last quarter.
Cassir (17) is in his second and final year of U18 basketball after helping WA to the silver medla at the 2007 state titles.
Ballarat will host the boys and girls U18 tournament, which starts on July 5, while the Kalamunda Basketball Association will host both U16 titles, starting on July 16.
Congratulations to both Jarrad and Robert on their selection. Everyone at the Perth Basketball Association wishes you well for the upcoming tournament!
