Guards Boot Camp

The camp introduced the players to advanced footwork and game situations while playing the guard position.

The players were put through intense and high energy type ball handling drills to force them out of their ‘comfort zone’ and play the guard position with confidence. Confidence is important for any player but in the guard position it’s a must due to the decisions they need to make, especially when under pressure.

“It was a pleasure working with the players in this camp, they had a great attitude and willingness to have a go, players of the future to watch out for” Stuart said.

Well done to all the players involved.

Elly Best, Kira Todd, Abbey Chehab, Tahlia Mellor, Eloise Kon-Yo and Chloe Wrigley.
