Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks WABL Wrap Round 15

Round 15 was a tough day at the office for the Benchmark Designer Homes’ Redbacks home-game round against the Wanneroo Wolves, in which there were four wins and twelve losses.

The Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks’ under 12 men’s team lost a tight encounter against the Wolves 65 to 72.   Luke Simonette scored 20, Jordan Rigden six, Joshua Armstrong eight, Kyle Bowen 21 and Jordon Herbert 10.

The under 12 women’s team won 52 to 10. Ashlee Ward scored two, Morgan Stewart four, Nicola Kastropil eight, Sharyce Krakouer two, Melissa Hughes two, Lauren Thompson 18, Savahna Neville six and Sophie Pyne 10.

The under 13 men’s team lost 42 to 66. Mitchell Parker scored two, Reece Hewitt 18, Braedin Goodson two, Todd Nosworthy four, Nazir Hashem four, Ryan Bride four, Jack Collard five and Nicholas Pyne two.

The under 13 women’s team lost 6 to 62. Chloe Smith, Maddy Craig and Kai Wineera all scored two.

In a dramatic game that came down to the last shot the under 14 men’s team beat the Wolves 63 to 62. Connor Jansen scored 13, Jared Pedersen two, Stephen Pover eight, Andrew Rich nine, Adam Parora 12, Daniel Skelton four and Zac Huxley 15.

The under 14 women’s team lost eight to 76. Ashtyn mason scored two, Gabriella Pyne two and Tegan Verren four.

The under 15 men lost 35 to 89. Matthew Biletic had 11, Jeet Mann 12, Sean Jakens two, Mitchell Steacy one, Matthew Newell four, Jack Wagner one and Jonathon Warren two.

The under 15 women lost 38 to 80. Breanna Goodson scored four, Lainey Stewart six, Michelle Curro four, Kyra law 10, Jessica Richardson six, Rebecca Sampson four and Emily Hughes two.

The under 16 men lost 64 to 74. Lattrell Matthews scored 11, Jarrett Donker three, Beau Chaplin 20, Julian Nelthorpe two, Giordano Monteleone 22 and Jacob Marr six.

The under 16 women lost 39 to 103. Taylor Burtenshaw scored one, Sam Tognolini 19, Rachael Goodger two, Lucy Noll two, Tereasa Maines 12 and Alicia Matrenza three.

The under 18 Division two men’s team lost 57 to 89. David Freissbourg-Mari scored 13, Liam Briggs two, Alex Jacobsen 11, Alex Guillon 11, Brad Smeaton nine, Giorgio Milio one, Hasula Poogoda three and Logan Viskovich 12.

The under 18 Division one men’s team lost 66 to 100. No individual scorers are recorded for either team on the website.

The under 18 women lost 46 to 58. Natasha Ziino scored four, Emma Black one, Abbey Harris three, Bianca Parora two, Jessica Hughes eight, Lori Ashworth eight, Jessica Jakens 11, Caris Dinardo four, Tiarn Burtenshaw two and Caitlin Largue two.

The under 20 men’s team lost in a tight encounter 65 to 70. Dylan Murphy had seven, Filip Glisic six, Jamieson Lewis 20, Steven Vigor 21, Jake Whately nine and Johno Montgomery two.

The D-League men’s team won 76 to 73. Blake Smith scored 15, Jake Whately four, Tim Rendulic seven, Dale Elliot 22, Jared Faint four, Jamieson Lewis 18 and Joshua Guppy four.

The D-League women’s team won 71 to 59. Jessica Hughes scored two, Narelle Henry three, Gabby O’Sullivan 17, Jessia Jakens 24, Catherine Tinley seven and Alix Hayward nine.

Development League player Jessica Jakens was the highest individual scorer of the women’s teams with 24 while fellow D-League player Gabby O’Sullivan had 17 and under 12 Lauren Thompson 12.

Under 16 Giordano Monteleone and D-League Dale Elliott were both the highest individual scorers out of the men’s teams with 22 while under 20 Steven Vigor had 21 and under 12 Luke Simonette, under 16 Beau Chaplin and under 20 Jamieson Lewis all had 20.
