Redbacks’ State Basketball League showdown

Tonight sees two in-form teams in the Perth Redbacks’ and the East Perth Eagles men’s teams in a State Basketball League showdown at the Belmont Oasis Leisure and Aquatic Centre.

Tip-off for this game is at 8PM with the women’s game starting at 6PM>

The seventh-placed Redbacks men come into the game with a five-game winning streak and the sixth-placed Eagles with a four-game winning streak.

The outcome of this game is vital for the Redbacks as it could see them end anywhere from fifth to eighth place in this last qualifying game of the year.

The ninth-placed Redbacks’ women’s team is unable to make the finals this year and will be playing for pride in their game against the fourth-placed Eagles.

They will also be playing with a real purpose in celebrating Brooke Hiddlestone’s 350th game with a win.

Both games are part of the Hepatitis WA and World Hepatitis Day 2011 official calendar of events.

Redbacks supporters are called up to come down en-masse to support Brooke’s 350th game and the men’s endeavours to achieve a win in this most important game.
