Hughes Selected in State Under 18s
Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks’ under 18s player Jessica Hughes has been selected to play for Western Australia Country in the Under 18s Women’s National Basketball Championships.
The championships are to be held in Ulverstone, Tasmania from 9th to 16th April 2011.
Jessica has been selected in what is her third year with the Redbacks.
During much of that time she has had to make the long trip from her home town of Boddington to Perth to train and play.
Jessica won the under 16s Redbacks’ WABL award for Most Valuable Player and was also a league all-star in 2010.
The Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks congratulates Jessica on her selection and wishes her all the best in the championships.
