Suns Release Kaminski
The Kalamunda Eastern Suns Men's team have released US Import Ryan Kaminski just four weeks into the SBL season.
Kaminski was in his second year in the SBL after playing two games with the Skilled Goldfields Giants in 2008 before injuring his knee.
Kalamunda Districts Basketball Association President Peter Hanson said "Eastern Suns felt that it was in the best interests of the player and the club to release import Ryan Kaminski from the playing roster. We wish him well in his future professional basketball career."
In two games for the Suns Kaminski had 4.5 points 6.5 rebounds & 2.0 assists per game and the Suns were 0-4 with his services. Since his departure the Suns have won their first game of the season and are in 11th spot on the ladder.
