Fotu reaches 200 SBL Games

South West Slammers guard Sam Fotu will play his 200th SBL game tonight agasinst the Mandurah Magic.

Fotu recently moved to the South West from Melbourne to take up a position as General Manager at RadioWest & Hot FM. 

The guard last played in the SBL with the Willetton Tigers between 1992 and 1999 where he racked up 189 games. Over ten years later, he returns and will suit up for game number 200. 

Since moving to Melbourne Fotu played in the SEABL Competition for eight years with Mount Gambier and Bendigo. The 35 year old had plenty of success in Melbourne, making eight straight playoff appearances, including SEABL Championships. 

The SBL congratulates Sam on the milestone and wishes him and his Slammers team mates the best of luck for the remainder of the 2011 season.
