Mini Clipper League Summer Season 2013.
Starting Saturday the 12th October For Boys and Girls from ages 7 - 9
Under 10's Saturday Morning Competition and Training Program.
Maroochydore Basketball Association, home of the mighty SunCoast Clippers are currently open for nominations for our Term 4 Under 10's Saturday morning competition and training program.

The 'Mini Clippers League' combines a six team competition with skills training as well as fun
basketball related activities.
This is a beginners program with no experience necessary and is open to boys and girls from the
ages of 7, 8 or 9 years old.

The Mini Clippers League is designed to introduce basketball to the community of
Sunshine Coast in a fun yet challenging atmosphere. We hope to encourage the making of
new friends for the kids as well as promoting the game we love, basketball.

Individual kids or pairs of friends can be easily placed in already established teams with also the option of
entering entire school teams. School teams are always welcome to nominate but must follow two basic rules:
1. All teams must be made up of both boys and girls (mixed)
2. All teams must have a minimum of 6 players with a maximum of 8.
The Mini Clippers League starts the first Saturday after school commences for term 4 and will run
approximately for 8 weeks.
All games are played at Maroochydore Basketball Stadium, Syd Lingard Drive Buderim.
The program is weekly made up of three time slots which vary each week.
The first game starts at 8.30am with the last finishing at 12 noon.
