Visiting Coach Byron Smith from Houston USA
Byron Smith, a visiting coach from Houston USA is running a series of training sessions at the Maroochy Suncoast Clippers Basketball Stadium over the next 5 days.
Coach Byron has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both coaching and playing. He played a highly successful College career at the University of Houston followed by playing professionally overseas for 6 years in Australia, Turkey & Greece.
In the past 3 years Coach Byron has run his own business coaching high performance skills and fundamentals programs in the Houston area, working with athletes from High school through to NBA level players in the off season. His workouts are high intensity and aimed to prepare athletes for collegiate level.

2001-2002: McLennan Community College Assistant Coach
2002-2003: Harlem Globetrotters Interim Head Coach
2004-2007: AAU Houston Swoosh Head Coach
2007-2009: Texas A&M Assistant Coach
2010-Present: High performance coach
Sessions:
Saturday 27th April 11.00 - 12.00pm: Boys and Girls aged 14 and older. Open Session. Cost is $20.
Sunday 28th April 10.00-11.30am: U16 & U18 girls. Cost $25
Byron is available for individual or small group sessions Monday or Tuesday this week.
